Edmund Optics has introduced its Techspec compact instrumentation imaging lenses. F11 and f16 lenses with 16mm, 25mm and 35mm focal lengths have been added, for volume instrumentation integration.
The lenses feature low lens-to-lens variation and offer a broadband anti-reflection (AR) coating for maximum light transmission. The lenses have an adjustable, lockable focus, which enables the user to set the best focus position prior to integration into instrumentation.
Each focal length of the Techspec imaging lenses is available in a range of f-number options, which allows the user to modify resolution, throughput and depth of field. These lenses are offered in 35 different versions, with customised f-number versions available.
The lenses are designed specifically for volume integration applications such as analytical medical devices, including benchtop-based blood analysers.
Edmund Optics has also released high contrast IR wire grid polarisers, ideal for broadband infrared applications that require high transmission and contrast, including spectroscopy, thermal imaging and astronomy.
