Menlo Systems’ TERA Image system extension for Terahertz (THz) imaging is now upgraded by EPINA’s novel ImageLab software for hyperspectral imaging. This unique tool processes data from various spectroscopic imaging techniques such as THz, optical, UV/VIS, IR, Raman, or mass spectrometry. Based on multivariate statistical methods it enables the user to analyze and classify acquired hyperspectral images and to merge them with maps of physical properties and conventional high-resolution color photos. The convenient user interface gives full control over the vast range of functions.
With ImageLab, the collaboration between the imaging specialist EPINA and Menlo greatly adds value to Menlo’s TERA Image unit, since it ensures optimal extraction of spectral information contained in each image pixel. Due to its modular architecture the software is easily adapted to the designated task, facilitating applications such as in-depth material analysis of complex samples, chemical component mapping, quality and purity control of industrial goods, or biological tissue study.
The basic edition of ImageLab is from now on part of TERA Image, and can also be purchased separately or extended by add-ons. For THz image processing applications of ImageLab Menlo Systems is exclusive distributor.
