Baumer has extended its family of TX cameras. Three new 5 Megapixel colour cameras are available with a Gigabit Ethernet or FireWire IEEE1394b interface. The cameras provide large dynamic range, image homogeneity and excellent linearity between the incident light and the digital signal. The industrial cameras were specifically designed for automated image processing and may be used in various areas such as mechanical engineering, pharmaceutical, medical and measuring technology.
The 5 Megapixel digital cameras provide up to 15 complete images per second and are supplied in compact housing. All cable connections are standardised and threaded, making for a secure connection. The cameras have been tested according to the EMVA 1288 Standard and have UL certification for the US market, as well as complying with the GigE Vision and GenICam or FireWire IEEE 1394b standards. Simply integration into image processing software is by means of the generic programming interface Baumer-GAPI – available for Windows and Linux.
