Baumer has launched the TXG series of Gigabit Ethernet cameras. GigE allows data transfer rates of up to 1000Mb/s and cable lengths of up to 100m, surpassing previous technologies such as FireWire and USB. Suitable for most industrial applications, the 13 camera models within the TXG series range in resolution from VGA to 5 Megapixel and are available in monochrome and colour versions. Cameras are small and have low power consumption.
Setup and integration is simple and Baumer-GAPI, a generic programming interface, allows all Baumer FireWire and Gigabit Ethernet cameras to be controlled by one PC using the same software, regardless of interface.
