Imaging Development Systems (IDS) has extended its USB 3 uEye CP camera family with three models using Cmosis' 2.2 megapixel CMOS sensors available as monochrome, colour or near infrared versions. The UI-3360CP cameras deliver 141fps at a full resolution of 2,048 x 1,088 pixels, or, while in a triggered line scan mode, they can reach up to 8,000fps.
The cameras have been designed to work within the automotive and machine vision industries with functions such as multi-AOI and superfast trigger mode. A line scan feature can scan at rates of up to 8kHz for high-speed applications and the NIR version can be used for light critical applications such as inspection, traffic surveillance, biomedicine or astronomy.
Including the new UI-3360CP cameras, there are currently 15 USB 3 uEye CP camera models available offering a great variety of resolutions from VGA to 5 megapixel. These cameras are all manufactured with a C-mount lens mount, lockable USB 3.0 and Hirose connectors, a serial interface and optically decoupled trigger and flash.
