IDS has started serial production of the USB 3 uEye CP camera series with six different models. Resolutions range from wide VGA to 5 Megapixel, with models up to 10 Megapixel available later in the year.
Additionally, the cameras offer a range of great and useful features. The superfast USB 3.0 interface offers data transfer rates of up to 400 MByte per second, which is 10 times USB 2.0, 5 times Firewire 800 and 3.5 times GigE speed.
The high performance cameras are well suited for a great variety of applications, particularly for 3D imaging within process automation, bodywork inspection, medical engineering, robotics or logistics.
