Special Optics, a Navitar company and manufacturer of high precision ultraviolet (UV) optical systems, has expanded its broad range of UV lenses to include a high NA UV microscope objective with a numerical aperture of 0.90. The current NA UV line includes 0.75 NA and 0.50 NA objectives.
Designed for customers who required a higher level of performance over standard microscope objectives, the high NA UV micro-objective provides 0.28µm and 0.41µm spot imaging at wavelengths of 248nm and 365nm respectively. The lens has an effective focal length of 5.5mm, a field of view of 100µm, and is diffraction limited, with less than 0.07 waves RMS wave front distortion over the entire field of view.
