Stemmer Imaging has introduced three advanced video capture cards from Datapath that feature multiple video channel inputs.
The VisionAV-HD and VisionAV-SDI are ideal for medical, lecture capture, web casting and video conferencing, while the VisionHD4 offers high performance, high density video capture for control room, medical and other applications that require high capture bandwidth.
Two of the three input channels in the VisionAV-HD support high definition imaging and the third supports standard definition composite video. For the VisionAV-SDI one input channel supports high definition DVI capture, the second standard definition composite video and the third, high definition SDI video. Both cards offer simultaneous capture from all three channels.
The DVI high definition inputs support HDMI, DVI, RGB and analogue component (YPbPr) input via a DVI-I connector, at resolutions up to 4,096 x 4,096 pixels and supports 1080p (1,920 x 1,080) at 60fps. Standard definition is input as composite video on a single RCA connector and can auto-detect between PAL, NTSC and SECAM formats. For the VisionAV-SDI, the SDI channel supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI (including 2K digital film resolution modes).
The VisionHD4 has four independent video capture channels, supporting high definition capture and analogue video. The signals are input on four DVI-I connectors and can support HDMI, DVI, VGA and analogue component (YPbPr) at all resolutions up to 4,096 x 4,096, at 165MHz pixel clock (digital modes) or 170MP/s in analogue modes.
All four video channels can be captured simultaneously and triple buffered into onboard storage for tear free video, alongside an audio stream that can be selected from four of the HDMI audio ports. There are four capture processors, each providing 800MB/s bandwidth.
