The new VisionCam LM from Imago Technologies is able to unify different components of a line scan application in a single device. Together with the application software (optionally supported by Halcon Embedded), an attractive vision system is created.
With the VisionCam LM, Imago combines two long-time areas of operation: As a specialist for all kinds of line scan camera connections to our VisionBox, we regularly solve the encoder signal processing and the real-time behavior. For many years, we have been joining energyefficient processors and CMOS sensors to intelligent matrix cameras, the VisionCam. We will present the newest innovation from both fields at the embedded world in Nuremberg for the first time:
In the VisionCam LM, a modern, fast ARM Dual-Cortex A15 processor with Linux processes the data from a line scan sensor with up to 8k pixels in monochrome or colour. Through the approx. 4 - 4½ times higher computing power in comparison with a Dual-Cortex A9, line scan rates of up to 50kHz with 4k resolution can be reached and processed. The data output takes place through Gigabit Ethernet, results are communicated directly over digital outputs or the RS-232 with the application. Digital inputs, RS-232 and an Encoder interface are provided on the input side to enable perfect synchronization.
Visit Imago at the embedded world at booth 1-458 and get to know the complete range of VisionBoxes and VisionCams. Imago’s experts are happy to consult you in a technical discussion.
