Stemmer Imaging can now offer the VisionSD4+1 frame grabber, the latest addition to Datapath's family of PCI Express x4 frame grabber cards. VisonSD4+1 allows the simultaneous capture of a high-resolution DVI-I or HDMI source with up to four standard video sources and is ideally suited to medical technology, presentation technology (such as the assembly of video conference systems), and for maritime navigation.
The card captures analogue RGB or digital DVI video signals and triple buffers them into onboard memory. The data is copied using Direct Memory Access to the host system for display, storage or streaming. The card can grab Component HD formats and HDMI up to 1,080p resolution, DVI up to resolutions of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and RGB up to 2,048 x 1,536 pixels. Four Composite/S-Video inputs (PAL, NTSC, SECAM) are supported. The maximum video resolution is 720 x 576 pixels.
The VisionSD4+1 is supplied with a powerful software development kit for configuring the timing and format of the input sources and displaying the data. A driver for Stemmer Imaging's Common Vision Blox imaging toolkit is also available for industrial applications.
