In October, TE.COM Industry & Environmental Solutions, an Italian consultancy and service provider to the automotive industry, became the newest distribution partner of the Wiesbaden-based company VITRONIC Bildverarbeitungssysteme GmbH.
Alongside TE.COM’s current range of solutions (catalysis for automotive and industrial applications and systems for geometrical in-line measurement of automotive welded subframes), this professional Turin firm will now distribute VITRONIC solutions for automated inspection designed for the automotive industry.
Thanks to this new partnership, VITRONIC will significantly strengthen its presence on the Italian automotive market in the field of automated quality inspection. One of the core aspects of the new partnership will be the marketing of the VIRO WSI system for automated inspection of welded seams and the VINSPEC machine vision solutions for surface inspection.
Worldwide, there are more than 300 VITRONIC systems for the automated weld seam inspection in use by automotive industry manufacturers and suppliers.
As to surface and geometrical inspection, the business activity of this German company specializing in machine vision solutions is focused on engine blocks, cylinder heads and cylinder head gaskets. VITRONIC can also directly supply complete robot inspection systems.
