Sill Optics has introduced wide angle lenses for security and other monitoring tasks. Focal lengths from 3mm up to 12mm are available. For maximum brightness homogeneity the optics are image-sided telecentric. They also show low distortion.
One lens in the range has a focal length of 5mm and allows a 180° panoramic view in combination with a 2/3-inch sensor. C-mount and variable iris is provided as standard.
