Prime Vision, an optical character recognition (OCR) provider, has re-branded its entire product programme. The re-naming introduces the RecoWorld Performance Recognition Engine, formerly High Yield Character Reader, the OpenWorld Open Integration Platform and finally the SpeechWorld Asterix-based Recognition Engine.
These technologies give rise to six primary solutions for specific markets. Parcel Vision, Prime Vision's flagship OCR/ICR is now ParcelMatch. MailMatch provides similar capability for letters and flats. The former OCR-Lite product for warehouse and logistics applications becomes LogisticsMatch. Completing the suite are three Dutchear solutions, MeetingMatch, CallMatch and SecureMatch.
Prime Vision's head of marketing, Mark Ryder, commented: 'Our new structure brings together all our core technologies, solutions and component modules in a single framework. The past twelve months has seen a rapid growth in product development and the introduction of new technologies. My hope is clients new to Prime Vision can appreciate what our existing clients experience every day: open, modular solutions that provide continuous improvement opportunities, work together and integrate seamlessly in all environments.'
