EDF, a French electricity company, has implemented several Silver 420M IR cameras from Cedip Infrared Systems to aid with maintenance on its production sites.
The cameras monitor the high-speed rotations of diode bridges – moving at linear velocities of greater than 125m/s. The cameras are synchronised to the precise frequency of the components, and offer a sensitivity normally found in laboratory applications.
