Kane Computing (KCL) has added the latest Avigilon high definition professional IP cameras to its range of video security products.
These high definition cameras, up to 16 Megapixels, capture high quality detailed images, which can be recorded with no loss of data. The cameras use JPEG2000 compression technology and High Definition Stream Management (HDSM) utilising dynamic bandwidth control.
Near infrared (NIR) sensitivity is available and a wide dynamic range helps to capture scenes in both very bright and dark areas. Power-over Ethernet (PoE) means no external power is required and stop action electronic shutter allows sharp images of moving objects to be captured. Auto iris/focus control and pan and tilt control are also supported. Built-in motion detection is also available.
The standard range, based on CMOS sensors, includes 1, 2, 3 and 5 Megapixel versions. The Pro range using CCDs offer 2, 4.2, 11 and 16 Megapixel versions and are ideal for low light work or to monitor fast moving objects.
