Kaya Instruments has announced that its CoaXPress IP Core already supports the Intel Arria 10 FPGAs.
Intel Arria 10 FPGAs and SoCs are up to 40 per cent lower power than previous generation FPGAs and SoCs.
Kaya Instruments is certified by the Japan Industrial Imaging Association (JIIA) and the CoaXPress IP Cores are compliant with the JIIA NIF-001-2013 CoaXPress standard rev 1.0 / 1.1.
Kaya Instruments currently supports CXP-6 up to 6.25 Gbps high speed link and 20.83 Mbps low speed link. Otherwise when the CoaXPress 2.0 (CXP-12) will be available, the new standard will be implemented immediately and options for the upgrade of existing FPGA IP Cores to CoaXPress 2.0 will be ready for use.
The CoaXPress IP Core by Kaya Instruments provides a Multi-link high performance solution for rate demanding video applications. Both Host and Device modes of operation are supported. The CoaXPress IP core supports the newest and industry leading FPGA families by Xilinx and Intel (Altera). Please see the list of the supported FPGAs below.
