Edmund Optics (EO), the premier provider of optical components, is pleased to announce the appointment of Helge Vogt as European Sales Director. Helge Vogt has been working for Edmund Optics since 2010 as key account manager in the German speaking countries. In the course of his employment, he successfully developed well-known key accounts and significantly contributed to Edmund Optics' year-over-year regional growth. Helge Vogt's long experience within the industry, his professional and trustworthy cooperation with customers and colleagues were contributing factors to Mister Vogt's promotion and will have a positive impact to the continuation of successfully developing Edmund Optics within the region.

Helge Vogt has been working for Edmund Optics since January 2010 as key account manager within the Sales team. Before that, he worked 20 years for SCHOTT and held different positions within Sales, Product Development, and Product Management where he oversaw various product launches, was in charge of various customer and projects global, and created a great sense for the specialty of the industry.

Also on 1 July Martin Weinacht will take over new responsibilities designed to meet customer needs. Working for Edmund Optics since 2005, Martin Weinacht played an instrumental role in growing Edmund Optics within Europe to the company you can find today. Mister Weinacht will now head all projects connected to the strategic development of Edmund Optics within Europe as the Director of European Programs. ‘We wish both colleagues a good start and success with their new tasks and are happy to have such valuable employees to further shape Edmund Optics future within Europe.’, comments Marisa Edmund.
