The EyeSens is a real multi-talent among the Vision Sensors. Based on the EyeVision image processing software the devices offer effective solutions for applications in areas such as object detection, measurement technology, pattern matching, code reading (bar code, DMC) and OCR/OCV as well as color recognition. Additionally, the included commands can be extended with any command of the EyeVision software. This means for example, a QR code reader command can be added to the EyeSens Bar Code Reader or OCR commands can be added to the EyeSens Color Inspector to read characters.
The new generation of EyeSens vision sensors is with 1,5 MP and DualCore processor more powerful and has higher resolution. Even the smallest details can now be detected and evaluated. With the color sensor even fine-grained color nuances can be differentiated. Relevant object colors can be configured with only a mouse click and controlled with the graphical inspection program creation. The allowed color threshold for the evaluation can be defined by the user.
As with the first EyeSens generation the new sensors can communicate with an SPS via the Profinet communication protocol. In addition, the EyeSens supports Modbus as well as TCP/IP and UDP communication. Therefore is the integration into the machine very easy.
The base of the EyeVision software is the drag-and-drop programming, which is also used for the EyeSens software. Thanks to the intuitive self-explanatory graphical user interface, no programming skills are necessary.
As before also the EyeSens DualCore is available with integrated lens and light or as C-mount type.
