AutoVimation's compact Fire Salamander series of protective enclosures has been specially developed to protect camera systems in applications with strict hygiene requirements.
Made from corrosion-resistant V4A stainless steel (1.4404), the housings do not have any corners or ridges. Their front panel is installed flush with the enclosure cover, and an electropolished surface prevents the accumulation of dirt and germs. Available in various lengths and suitable for all compact cameras with a maximum width across corners of 55mm, Fire Salamander enclosures provide IP67 protection.
The system protects sensitive camera electronics in food industry applications, where cameras can be subjected to wet and cold environments with several high-pressure cleanings per day.
