Eutecus has released version 2.0 of its Multi-core Video Analytics Engine (MVE) Evaluation Kit. Version 2.0 adds a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to the full video analytics suite implemented on a single FPGA, as well as other improvements. The GUI enables users without an image processing background to rapidly configure and test fully functional video analytics applications on the Xilinx Spartan XtremeDSP Video Starter Kit. It can also be modified for use on smart cameras and other embedded systems equipped with the Xilinx Spartan-3A DSP FPGA.
