Power Technology, Inc. (PTI) has introduced the PNF and MK Series laser modules designed specifically for machine vision applications.
Applications include 3D profiling and imaging, dimensional scanning, high speed road and rail inspection, web inspection, fluorescence, and illumination. The laser modules with its superior electronics can serve as a drop-in replacement for most existing machine vision lasers.
The PNF laser delivers from 0.1mW to 200mW of output power with a wavelength range between 375nm and 2,330nm. The MK Series laser module is capable of output powers from 150mW to 8W with a wavelength range between 635nm and 1,064nm.
Additional design features of the PNF laser include uniform intensity (non-Gaussian) line generators, variable focus technology, good wavelength stability, superior optical power stability, and CW, digital or analogue modulation up to 100MHz.
PTI offers an array of custom design and manufacturing services, which include high and low volume US production, custom engineering, customised connectors and beam profiling.
