Soliton Technologies, an Indian-based manufacturer of smart cameras and other machine vision components, has launched the Spot-It v2, part of the third generation of the Spot-It range of smart cameras and embedded vision systems.
Spot-It v2 is a standalone DSP-based smart camera that offers an easy way to automate quality inspection in production and assembly lines. This configurable device can be set up with minimum effort.
Soliton Vision Artist, supplied with the camera, provides an easy-to-use graphical interface. The smart camera also directly controls other devices and machines, without a PC, based on the results of the inspection.
