Phase View has released ZeeScan, an electro-optics module adding fast z-stack and remote focus capabilities to any transmitted or reflected light microscope. ZeeScan fits between user camera and microscope video port and provides fast scanning in less than 5ms response time, and a z-range of up to 1mm with nanopositioning from 5nm.
As an independent device from the objective, stage or focus wheel, the sample space is totally free with no disturbance or vibrations. ZeeScan is an ideal and affordable accessory for applications such as 3D microscopy, rapid screening in life sciences or z-depth measurement and 3D surface analysis in material microscopy.
